Condition & Authenticity
All works created in 2026, signed by the artist, and sold as originals — no prints or reproductions. Each is mounted on a wood stretcher frame, presented unframed so you can choose framing to suit your own space. Every sale includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Packaging
Every painting ships in protective box packaging, cushioned and corner-guarded for transit. Listed prices cover the artwork only — packaging is included at no extra cost.
Shipping
Shipping is calculated separately from the artwork price, based on size and destination. Domestic shipping is a flat estimate at checkout; international orders are quoted after enquiry. Import duties and customs charges, where applicable, are the buyer's responsibility.

Can I return a painting?

Privacy Policy
Babasehgalart.com ("we," "us") respects your privacy. We collect only the information necessary to process your order: name, email, shipping address, and phone number. This information is used solely for order fulfillment, communication, and shipping — never sold or shared with third parties, except payment processors required to complete your transaction securely.
We do not store your card or payment details; these are handled directly by our secure payment gateway partner. For any privacy concerns, contact art@babasehgalart.com.
Terms & Conditions
By purchasing from Babasehgalart.com, you agree to the following:
- All artworks listed are original, handmade pieces created by Baba Sehgal.
- Prices are listed in INR and include 5% GST for orders within India. International orders are zero-rated under GST (no GST charged), but may be subject to customs duties or taxes in the destination country, which are the buyer's responsibility.
- Once a payment is confirmed, the artwork is reserved exclusively for you.
- Product images are represented as accurately as possible; minor colour variations due to screen display are possible and do not qualify as a defect.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or unavailability of the artwork.
- All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Refund & Return Policy
Since every artwork sold on Babasehgalart.com is an original, one-of-a-kind, handmade piece, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind once an order is confirmed and payment is received. All sales are final upon payment confirmation, except for verified transit damage as outlined below.
Damaged or defective items:
- Do not accept delivery if outer packaging is visibly torn or crushed, where possible.
- If already accepted, photograph the damage immediately upon opening. Damage claims must be accompanied by an unedited unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened for the first time — claims without this video cannot be processed.
- Email art@babasehgalart.com within 48 hours of delivery, with photos, video, and original packaging shown.
Valid, verified transit-damage claims will be resolved via replacement (if a similar piece is available) or a full refund, at our sole discretion, processed within 7–10 business days.
Order cancellations: Cancellations are only accepted within 4 hours of order placement. After this window, the artwork enters production/packaging and cannot be cancelled. To request cancellation, email us immediately at art@babasehgalart.com.
Other terms: Buyers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details; we are not liable for delays or additional charges due to incorrect addresses. In case of unauthorized chargeback disputes filed despite delivery confirmation, we reserve the right to contest the claim with delivery, tracking, and unboxing evidence. Import duties, customs charges, or taxes levied by the destination country are the buyer's responsibility and are non-refundable.
